Wilmington Sea Dawgs News Release
Wilmington, NC - The Wilmington Sea Dawgs want their young basketball fans to also be fans of reading. That's why they are teaming up with the downtown branch of the New Hanover County Public Library for a special reading event.
This Saturday, from 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m., team members, Sea Dawgs Dancers, and even team mascot "Salty Dawg" will be reading books to children.
"When I asked the team who would like to join us for this event, we had an amazing response," says Krishane Lee, community relations team member. "We are pleased to confirm that Cedric McGinnis, Charles Ward, Terrence Todd, Brian-Demarco Williams, Rahiem Murphy, Kendrick Jones and Rashard Lee plan to participate in this worthwhile event."
The Wilmington Sea Dawgs welcome the opportunity to schedule guest appearances for community events. For more information, please contact Robin DeVido at 910-256-7956, email her at info@wilmingtonseadawgs.com or visit www.wilmingtonseadawgs.com.
Note: OurSports Central no longer actively covers the American Basketball Association (ABA) as a professional league due in part to its inability to publish and play a schedule and the transitory nature of many of its teams. For information on professional minor leagues, please see OSC's basketball section.
