On opening night of the series against Minot, Friday October 18th, the Wilderness came out on top 2-1 in overtime. Scoring the first goal of the game wasBilly Exell assisted by Dominik Tiffels. The Minotauros scored 3:25 in the 3rd period to tie the game up. Regulation ended at 1-1 sending it into a 5 minute overtime. Scoring in OT for the Wilderness at 2:24was Michael Covach assisted by Terry Leabo and Tyler Hart. Covach was playing in his first game back from injury. Saturday's game 2 also ended in a win with a score 3-2. Scoring on the night was Michael Covach, Terry Leabo and Johno May. Covach's goal at 14:41 in the first period was assisted by Johno May and Thomas Lindstrom. The second goal coming from Leabo on a power playin the third period was assisted by Thomas Lindstrom. Wilderness host Janesville October 25th and 26th at 7:05. Come out for the Pink in the Rink Game Friday Night and Halloween Costume Dress up ContestSaturday. Both games will have a silent auction for the Pink Game Day Jerseys.
