Soo Downs Wenatchee in Overtime, 3-2

Denver Pierce gave the Soo Eagles a 3-2 (OT) victory over the Wenatchee Wild when he scored 4:10 into the extra period.

Soo's penalty kill excelled, as the Eagles gave up one goal despite allowing seven power plays.

Soo was led by Pierce, who finished with one goal.

With 29 shots on target during the contest, the Eagles exceeded the 25.8 shots they average per game this year.

Soo also got a goal from Jacob McDowell as well. Other players who recorded assists for Soo were Kristofers Bindulis, who had two and Bradley Mueller, AJ Jarosz, Chase Matson, and Kyle Loridon, who contributed one a piece.

Wenatchee was helped by River Rymsha, who grabbed one goal. Rymsha scored 5:11 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Wenatchee. Andre Pison provided the assist. Parker Tuomie also scored for Wenatchee. In addition, Wenatchee received assists from Troy Loggins, who had one.

Skoog Paige made 26 saves for Soo on 28 shots. The Eagles incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors. Mackenzie Sawyer rejected 26 shots on goal for the Wild. Wenatchee incurred 14 minutes in penalty time with seven minors.
