BEAUMONT, Texas (Ticker) -- Kevin Doell recorded a hat trick and Joe Bourne produced two goals and an assist as the Gwinnett Gladiators pounded the Texas Wildcatters, 8-0. Doell, who has scored 14 goals in his last 13 games, opened the scoring 5:06 into the first period. Doell tallied twice in less than a 10-minute span of the second period to complete his second hat trick of the season and take over the league lead among rookies with 31 goals. Bourne, who picked up an assist on Doell's first goal, scored twice in a 26-second span early in the second period to give Gwinnett a 3-0 advantage. Michael Garnett made 23 saves for the Gladiators, who have won via the shutout in each of their last three games. Davis Parley made 49 saves for Texas, which has dropped five games in a row.
