Wildcats to host Arena Football Experience

ALBANY, GA- The South Georgia Wildcats arenafootball team will hold an Arena Football Experience for high school students (Grades 9-12) on Saturday, February 11th. The one day event will take place at the Albany James H. Gray Civic Center located at 100 West Oglethorpe Blvd. Registration will begin at 10:00 a.m. and the Arena Football Experience will begin at 11:00 a.m.

The Arena Football Experience will have participants testing their football skills in the 40-yard dash, 20-yard short shuttle and other agility drills. Participants will have a chance to showcase their individual talents with one-on-one non-contact drills and a team competition at the conclusion of the Arena Football Experience. The camp will be conducted indoor on the Wildcats home field turf. The Wildcats field will be set up to simulate a real game. All participants are required to bring athletic shoes (indoor turf shoes preferably) and workout wear for the tryout.

Participants can pre-register by visiting the Wildcats football offices at 230 South Jackson Street, Suite 356 (Arthur K. Williams Microbusiness Center). The cost to pre-register is $20; the fee will be $25 the day of the Arena Football Experience. The camp will be open for viewing to the public and all media.
