Wildcats Present Albany Herald Night for First Home Game

ALBANY, GA- As the South Georgia Wildcats take to the field Saturday night for a rematch against their division rival the Florida Firecats, the Albany Herald will be partnering with the team to bring to its fans another night of phenomenal entertainment. As a key distributer of all news and information concerning the Wildcats, "Albany Herald Night" will be a fitting way to spotlight their tremendous work and journalistic excellence.

"The Albany Herald has always been a huge supporter of the South Georgia Wildcats," said Vice President Will Carter. "We are grateful for their partnership and we look forward to an exciting home opener."

"Albany Herald Night" festivities will include Keith Shelton, who tried out in 2006 and 2007 for American Idol, performing the National Anthem. Michael Hill, Albany Herald Circulation Director, will give the invocation. Tammy Sloan, Albany Herald Salesperson of the Month for February, will perform the Coin Toss. Tami Abbott, Albany Herald Ad Director, and grandson Michael Cuny will present the Game Ball.

"We are excited to once again be in partnership with the South Georgia Wildcats," said Albany Herald Ad Director Tami Abbott. "We are looking forward to an incredible season and another championship run."
