Wildcats Appreciation Night This Friday

This Friday Night at 7:35pm at the American Bank Center, the Corpus Christi Rayz Professional Hockey Team is thrilled to present Calallen Appreciation Night. The Rayz will recognize one of the greatest seasons in South Texas football history, and celebrate the 2005 Calallen Wildcats run to the 4A D-II State Championship Game. As part of the festivities, the Calallen players will be in attendance and Head Coach, Phil Danaher will drop the puck in the ceremonial pre-game face-off. All Calallen students will be admitted FREE to the game with their valid school ID - limit one ticket per student. For more information, please contact the Rayz at (361) 814-PUCK.

Last week, Calallen completed a remarkable season, finishing 14-2 as the 4A D-II Texas State Runner Up. The Rayz are happy to team up with the Calallen Wildcats and support their outstanding program. In addition to offering free tickets to all Calallen students, the Rayz will donate portions of ticket proceeds to the Calallen Booster Club. For all advanced tickets orders placed over the phone as part of the "Calallen Group," the Rayz will donate $3 per ticket.

The Calallen Wildcats had a tremendous season, and brought a lot of pride to the Coastal Bend," said Rayz General Manager, Larry Linde. "We hope to emulate their success this season."

The Rayz will host the Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees this Friday for a Christmas Celebration at the American Bank Center. It's also Harley Davidson Men's Night presented by Time Warner and Classic Rock 104.5FM. All men 18 and older will receive discount ticket vouchers at Harley Davidson of Corpus Christi.
