Washington, PA â The Washington Wild Things, presented by Washington Federal Savings Bank, announced Thursday the signing of three players from the 2002 team and a rookie from West Virginia University.

Outfielder, Joe Cuervo, Second Baseman Ryan Ellis, and Third Baseman, Jason Kane have all three opted to return to Washington for another shot at the Frontier League Title.
"We now have a large portion of last year's Eastern Division Championship team under contract for 2003, said Kent Tekulve, Director of Baseball Operations. " That gives us a great start toward another fun-filled and exciting summer at Falconi Field." Joe Cuervo will return as an outfielder for the Wild Things.
