Wild Card Weekend Schedule Set

NEW YORK - The Arena Football League's Wild Card Round matchups have been set following the conclusion of the regular-season on Monday night.

Friday, June 29

Orlando Predators at Philadelphia Soul, 7:30 p.m. ET (ESPN)

Saturday, June 30

Columbus Destroyers at Tampa Bay Storm, 12 p.m. ET (ESPN)

Colorado Crush at Kansas City Brigade, 3 p.m. ET (ESPN)

Monday, July 2

Utah Blaze at Los Angeles Avengers, 10 p.m. ET (ESPN2)

ESPN's three commentator teams from the regular season - MIKE GREENBERG and MIKE GOLIC; TREY WINGO and MARK SCHLERETH; MARK JONES and MERRIL HOGE - will continue to call games during the AFL playoffs. Greenberg-Golic will call the Conference Championship game at 3 p.m. ET (ESPN) on July 14 (Wingo-Schlereth will call the other at noon) and ArenaBowl XXI at 3 p.m. ET (ABC) on July 29. Wild Card and Divisional playoff rounds will utilize additional commentators, including ESPN's DAVE PASCH (play-by-play), ESPN's BOB WISCHUSEN (play-by-play) and former NFL linebacker/AFL Head Coach RAY BENTLEY, who served as an analyst for two regular-season Arena Football games on ESPN this year.

Russell Athletic Arena Football Preview Show on ESPN2 - Friday, 7 p.m. ET

The Arena Football League and ESPN have announced that the 2007 AFL playoffs will feature the Russell Athletic Arena Football Preview Show and subsequent Playoff Studio Shows throughout the playoffs that begin on Friday, June 29.

STAN VERRETT will host the 30-minute playoff special with an in-studio appearance by Arizona Rattlers quarterback and former ArenaBowl champion SHERDRICK BONNER. Schlereth will join the show via remote to offer insights, and Pasch and Bentley will preview that night's Predators-Soul Wild Card game.
