
Tampa Bay Storm To Host Wild Card Round

Tampa - With a 9-2 finish on the 2007 AFL season the Tampa Bay Storm locked up the third seed in the National Conference and a home game in the Wild Card Round against the Columbus Destroyers on Saturday, June 30. Kickoff at the St. Pete Times Forum is set for 12:00 p.m. EST
ESPN will televise the game and AM 620 WDAE will air the game live. Tickets can be purchased at all Ticketmaster outlets, the St. Pete Times Forum McDonald's Box Office, online at ticketmaster.com and by calling 813.301.6780 or 813.301.6600
The Tampa Bay Storm (9-7), the third seed in the National Conference, will enter postseason play for the 20th time in 21 seasons. The Storm return to the playoffs after its lone absence in 2006 after ending the season 7-9.
Twelve of the AFL's 19 teams advance to the playoffs, six from each conference. The league's four division winners earn the top two seeds in each conference and first-round byes. ArenaBowl XXI will be played on Sunday, July 29, in New Orleans.
