March 3, 2015 - North American Hockey League (NAHL)
Wenatchee Wild News Release

The Amarillo Bulls have rolled out of Wenatchee on their way home to the Lone Star State and with them is the win for game two. Ending the series with a 1-1 record, the Bulls seized the last two points available for the weekend when they were able to claim the match's 4-2 final. Jake Ahlgren, Brendan Harris, and Chris Jones were rewarded the three Stars of the Game.

Amarillo's Charlie Combs netted the first goal of the game roughly two minutes into the opening period when he was given the puck by Joey DiBenedetto. Wenatchee was given their first point and the frame saw it's last when Jake Ahlgren lit the lamp behind the Bulls' net with the help of Brendan Harris seventeen minutes into the period.

Brendan Harris was credited with the lone goal of the middle period three minutes and forty three seconds into the frame. The last Wild point of the match was assisted by Jake Ahlgren.

The Bulls tied the game with Trent Dillinger's goal at the 5:22 minute mark of the third period. George Mika was credited with the assistance of the this point. Amarillo took the lead exactly one minute later when Charlie Combs scored his second goal with the help solely of AJ Duggan. Luke Novak netted the last point of this match on the power play when he was given the puck by both George Mika and Will Harrison thirteen minutes and thirty nine seconds into the final period.

Wenatchee ended this game with 35 total shots on goal and only 3 infractions. Penalties were called out on Troy Conzo (Slashing), Tyler Rockwell (Tripping), and Chris Jones (Holding).

Zach Quinn was in between the pipes for the Wild during this match and was able to stop 25 shots on goal.

To quote Coach Littler, "After two periods we had our chances to be up a few. In the third Amarillo wanted it more than we did. That part is disappointing."

Looking forward in the Wild's schedule, the team will get back on the road this weekend seeing as they are expected in Wichita Falls, Texas for a two game series against the Wildcats. The first game will take place on Friday, March 6th, with a start time of 7:05 pm CST and the second game will be on Saturday, March 7th, and will begin at 7:05 pm CST as well. This will be their last series against Wichita Falls for the season.
