
Wiener Dog Night Hits the Ice at the PREMIER Center

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - The Sioux Falls Stampede has officially made its annual change into the Sioux Falls Fighting Wiener Dogs. The Herd heads to Fargo, N.D. on Friday then turns around and comes to the PREMIER Center on Saturday for the 17th Annual Wiener Dog Night, presented by Sioux Nation Pet Clinic.
On Friday, a quick trip to Fargo, N.D. will have the Stampede and Force meeting for the third time since last week. The two teams played in Sioux Falls last weekend where the Force took home both wins with a high-scoring script. Fargo sits in first place in the Western Conference and the USHL with 68 points and a 33-5-2-0 record.
Saturday the Dogs will host the rival Sioux City Musketeers. The Musketeers are 23-12-6-0 this season with 52 points in the western conference, sitting in second place. They have lost two games in a row and will play in Omaha, Neb. on Thursday night against the Lancers before coming to Sioux Falls. Sioux Falls is currently 3-1-1 against the Musketeers this season.
Onto the main event of the weekend, the 17th Annual Wiener Dog Races. Check out all the need-to-know info about the evening below:
Doors Open: 4:45 PM
Wiener Dog Parade: 5:45 PM
Introductions and Pregame Ceremonies: 6:00 PM
Wiener Dogs vs Musketeers: 6:15 PM
First Intermission: Wiener Dog Races (2 heats)
Second Intermission: Final Four Championship Race & Chuck-A-Puck
Tickets: Only single seats remain in the 100 level, but good seats with a great view of the races in the 200 level are available, but going quick. Click here to purchase tickets now!
Most tickets are now digital, but if you are set to receive a physical ticket at will call, we strongly recommend you pick up your tickets in advance to avoid long lines the night of the game. If you do have digital tickets through FEVO please make sure you follow the instructions on your email confirmation on how to download your tickets. We recommend you have your tickets downloaded in advance to avoid a delay in getting in through the gate.
Parking: Free for Guests
This is the biggest game of the year and with other events going on at Convention Center please allow for some extra time when arriving. Parking in Lots A & B are available.

Concessions: The PREMIER Center is a cashless facility, only debit and credit cards will be accepted for purchases.
Chuck-A-Puck: Fans can purchase chuck-a-pucks for a chance to win one of several prizes totaling over $500 in the main concourse outside Section 102 and 118. Proceeds from chuck-a-puck will benefit Dakota Dachshund Rescue.
Wiener Dog Pro Shop: Get your Fighting Wiener Dog swag while it lasts outside Section 104 and 113 at the Wiener Dogs Pro Shop. Brand new Wiener Dog merchandise will be available along with Stampede items. They will go quick so plan to arrive early!
Game-Worn Jerseys: The Pack is back with a game-worn jersey auction AND signed locker room name plates! Visit the Dash Auctions page to bid on your favorite player's jersey and name plate. Auction runs until Tues. Feb. 13 at 9 p.m. CST and fans can pick up their signed memorabilia at the Stampede office. Proceeds from the jersey auction are donated to Dakota Dachshund Rescue.

Races in between periods:
There will be a record 48 dogs competing this year! The first intermission will consist of two races of 24 dogs each. The top two dogs from each heat will advance to the Final Four championship race during the 2nd intermission!
