The week started off brilliantly with a road matchup against the Missouri Mavericks, where Russo stopped 25 of 26 shots, shutting down the Mavs and coming out with a 4-1 win. The Thunder went on to play back-to-back games against the Tulsa Oilers, where Russo combined to stop 47 of the 51 shots winning both contests. Of the five goals scored against Russo this week, only one of them came even strength, the remaining four were while the opponent had a man-advantage.
