
Central Hockey League Announces Suspensions

GLENDALE, AZ (November 29, 2011) - The Central Hockey League (CHL) announced today the following disciplinary actions resulting from the Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees/Arizona Sundogs game on Saturday, November 26:
Arizona Sundogs forward Patrick Schafer has been suspended for four (4) games as a consequence of leaving the bench and starting an altercation and will miss his team's games on Nov. 30 (at Laredo), Dec. 2 (at Rio Grande Valley), Dec. 3 (at Rio Grande Valley) and Dec. 9 (at Rapid City).
Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees defenseman Nicolas Rioux has been suspended for one (1) game as a consequence of getting into an altercation after leaving the bench on a legal line change and will miss his team's next game on Dec. 2 (vs. Arizona).
Additionally, Arizona head coach Marco Pietroniro and Rio Grande Valley head coach Terry Ruskowski have each been fined an undisclosed amount of money and the Arizona Sundogs organization has also been fined.
