
WhiteWings spring training begins Tuesday

Harlingen, TX - The Harlingen WhiteWings officially begin United League Baseball spring training tomorrow morning at Harlingen Field.
Manager Al Gallagher and Pitching Coach Caleb Balbuena will use the next week to trim the roster down to no more than 24 players to start the regular season in Alexandria on May 13th.
Players will begin stretching tomorrow at 10:00 a.m.
Position players will start taking fielding practice at 10:30 and the pitchers will start throwing batting practice at 10:45.
This will continue until 1:00 p.m., when the players will get a 30 minute break before spending half an hour on base running drills.
The players will work on conditioning at 2:00 and extra hitting will be at 2:15.
Each day's schedule will be sent out the day before.
