WhiteWings sign two players

The Rio Grande Valley WhiteWings have announced the signing of two players - Brian Gore, a 6-5, 210 pound righthanded pitcher who began the 2006 season with the San Angelo Colts of the United League; and Carlos Mendoza, 31, a 5-11 outfielder who played Class AAA ball in 2000 and who began his professional career in 1994.

More roster moves are pending before Tuesday's game against Amarillo.
