HARLINGEN - The Rio Grande Valley WhiteWings game against the Laredo Broncos scheduled for Saturday, July 8, has been postponed due to heavy rains and unplayable field conditions.
The WhiteWings and Broncos will play a doubleheader starting at 6:05 p.m. Sunday, July 9, at Harlingen Field. The games will be shortened to seven innings each. Joey Cress and Rob Parfett are the scheduled starters for the WhiteWings. Brian Daly and Elliott Shaw are expected to start for the Broncos.
