Whitecaps Tickets on Sale Tuesday

COMSTOCK PARK, MI -Individual tickets for all 2011 Whitecaps games go on sale Tuesday, January 25 at 10 a.m.

The season begins on Thursday, April 7 at the Lansing Lugnuts and the home schedule begins on Sunday, April 10 at 1 p.m. against the Lugnuts. Ticket prices are $13.00 for premium box seats, $11.00 for box seats, $9.50 for reserved seats and $6.00 for McCain Foods lawn seats. New for 2011 is the Keller Williams Home Zone, section 225 in the reserved seats on the third base side, which will be discounted to $9.00 each compliments of Keller Williams Realty.

The Whitecaps have been working hard this offseason to put together another exceptional promotional schedule, which includes several popular promotions returning as well as new promotions that fans are sure to enjoy. Weekly promotions include:

Sunday - Family Day/Kids Eat Free presented by Helen DeVos Children's Hospital (play catch and get autographs from the team on the field before the game, and the first 1,000 kids eat free); Kids Run The Bases presented by Bob Evans (after the game all kids can run the bases).

Monday - All Faiths Night presented by JQ 99 (bring a church or community bulletin to the box office and get half off box or reserved seats).

Tuesday - Fat Tuesday (get a reserved seat ticket and an all-you-can-eat special including hot dogs, fries, chips 'n cheese and Pepsi products - just $17.00) and Senior Day (half price box and reserved seats for all seniors 50 years old and better).

Wednesday - Wellness Wednesday presented by Priority Health (show your Priority Health card at the box office and receive $2 off a reserved ticket. Take a walk around the warning track before the game as well).

Thursday - Thrifty Thursday presented by Altogas (enjoy concessions specials, including $1.00 hot dogs, $1.00 Cole's bread sticks, $2.00 20 oz beer, $2.00 22 oz soft drinks and $2.00 soft pretzels).

Friday - Tiger Fridays (Tigers giveaways to the first 1,000 fans and an appearance by a former Detroit Tiger player every Friday beginning June 3rd). Details regarding the Tiger Friday guest appearances will be announced at a later date.

Saturday - Fireworks presented by Farm Bureau Insurance (post-game every Saturday beginning May 7). 27 and August 8), The Famous Chicken (July 27), and ZOOperstars! (August 24).

Other highly-anticipated dates on the 2011 schedule include Opening Day with knit winter hats for the first 1,000 fans presented by Fifth Third Bank (April 10); NLCS MVP Cody Ross bobblehead giveaway (May 20), Military Appreciation Day with a camo cap giveaway presented by Bates Footwear (May 21), Dime Dog nights (April 23, June 27 and August 8), The Famous Chicken (July 27), and ZOOperstars! (August 24).

Popular theme nights on which Whitecaps players will wear special jerseys include Breast Cancer Awareness Day (May 8), Autism Awareness Night (June 5), Star Wars Night (July 9), Van Andel Institute Community for a Cure Night (July27) Ronald McDonald House Night (August 10).

Tickets can be purchased by visitingwhitecapsbaseball.com, by calling the Whitecaps front office at 616-784-4131, or in person at the Whitecaps box office. The box office is open from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and once the season starts will be open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturdays (as well as during games).

Discounted tickets for groups of 20 or more are on sale now, as are season ticket packages, including mini plans, partial season, flex books and full season plans.
