Whitecaps FC Set to Kick off 2014 Training Camp

VANCOUVER, BC - Vancouver Whitecaps FC are set to kick off their 2014 training camp on Saturday, January 25 when players report for medicals, before on-field training begins on Monday, January 27 at UBC.
Over the course of the preseason, Whitecaps FC will play exhibition matches against North American Soccer League side Indy 11 and Cascadia rival Seattle Sounders FC on two separate occasions.
The "ÃËCaps will also participate in the 2014 Rose City Invitational tournament in Portland, Oregon, where they will meet Jamaican side Portmore United FC, Western Conference rival San Jose Earthquakes, and the host Portland Timbers. All matches in Portland will be held at JELD-WEN Field.
Following the Rose City Invitational, Whitecaps FC will return to Vancouver at the beginning of March before they kick off their 40th anniversary season on March 8 against defending Supporters Shield winners New York Red Bulls at BC Place.
2014 PRESEASON ROSTER
The club's 2014 preseason roster will be confirmed on Friday, January 24 on the roster page found under the "TEAM" dropdown menu. The roster will be updated with any movement throughout the preseason.
