Whitecaps FC Introduce Save the Fees Day on Monday, May 15

VANCOUVER, BC - The best day of the year to buy Vancouver Whitecaps FC tickets is coming!

The club announced that there will be a Save the Fees Day this coming Monday, May 15 for 24 hours only, from 12 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. PT.

"This season we are playing a very entertaining brand of soccer and have a lot of exciting matches to look forward to as we enter summer in Vancouver," said Axel Schuster, Whitecaps FC chief executive officer. "We are very excited to offer a save the fees day for the first time at our club and recognize these extra savings will be beneficial to our fans. It is important we find new ways to make our matches as accessible as possible, and this limited-time offer is going to be a great opportunity for anyone who is thinking of coming to a game this season to save money on their tickets."

On the pitch, the 'Caps continue to climb the table as one of the hottest teams in Major League Soccer.

Whitecaps FC enter the weekend on an eight-match unbeaten streak, tied for the longest mark in MLS this season

During this undefeated stretch the 'Caps have outscored the opposition 11-4 and recorded four clean sheets

Seven different Whitecaps FC players have been named to the MLS Team of the Matchday so far in 2023, including Yohei Takaoka, Tristan Blackmon, Ali Ahmed, Julian Gressel, Ryan Gauld, Simon Becher, and Brian White

Off the pitch, the club is matching their hot form with the hottest deal of the year.

Rather than paying traditional fees, Whitecaps FC and BC Place have partnered to pick up the tab on the extra costs. Fans who purchase during this 24-hour window will receive significant savings.

"We're very excited to be partnering with Whitecaps FC on Save the Fees Day," added Chris May, general manager at BC Place. "We are always looking for ways to make events at BC Place more accessible, and this is a great opportunity for that."

Every remaining MLS match on the schedule will be eligible during Save the Fees Day, from Seattle Sounders FC next Saturday, May 20, to Decision Day against LAFC on October 21, and every game in-between.
