Wheels schedule first open tryout camp

Detroit, MI. The ABA Detroit Wheels professional basketball team scheduled to begin play in November will hold an Open Tryout Camp on Saturday, October 1st and Sunday, October 2nd at the University of Michigan-Dearborn across from the Fairlane Mall at 4901 Evergreen between Ford Road and Michigan Avenue. The tryouts will be from 9am-3pm on Saturday and from 1230pm-4pm on Sunday.
According to Antoine Joubert, Wheels owner, "We have some great players in this state from Michigan, Michigan State, Detroit, Wayne State and our other universities and colleges - there's no doubt that we have the talent to have one of the best teams in the ABA - and we're hoping for a large turnout and a competitive camp. Of course, everyone is welcome from surrounding states - so we're looking for talent from Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin, Minnesota too."
