
Wheat Kings Unveil Pre-Season Schedule

Brandon, MB. - The Western Hockey League has released its 2018 pre-season schedule and western Manitoba hockey fans will have the opportunity to see the Brandon Wheat Kings play two games at Westoba Place in September.
The Wheat Kings, who will open up training camp in late August, will host the Regina Pats and Moose Jaw Warriors on Friday, September 7th and 14th respectively.
As well, Brandon will travel to Regina on Saturday, September 8th before closing out its 4-game pre-season schedule on Sunday, September 16th.
The Wheat Kings will then bring the curtain up on their 2018-19 regular season schedule the following weekend.
The WHL plans to unveil its complete 2018-19 regular season schedule before the end of June.
In other club related news, the Wheat Kings' Early Bird Season Ticket Deadline is fast approaching.
Fans wanting to guarantee their seat for the upcoming season have until 5pm Thursday, June 14th to reserve.

Fans that renew their season tickets by next week's deadline will receive a limited edition bobblehead, featuring the likeness of former Wheat Kings all star netminder Ron Hextall.
A Brandon native, Hextall is the current general manager of the National Hockey League's Philadelphia Flyers and was named to Brandon's All Time Dream Team last season, in celebration of the hockey club's 50th Anniversary in the WHL.
