
Whalers Host Customer Appreciation Saturday

PLYMOUTH TOWNSHIP - The Plymouth Whalers and Compuware Sports Arena are hosting their third annual Customer Appreciation day this Saturday, May 20, from 10:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. at Compuware Sports Arena in Plymouth Township.
Activities for this fun-filled family event include a Whalers' Used Equipment Sale. Rookie Scrimmage Game, Free Skate and Whalers player Meet-and-Greet.
"Among all the activities we host here at the Compuware Sports Arena each year, the Customer Appreciation Day is a great opportunity for us to thank our customers in a tangible way for all their support during the year," said Plymouth Director of Corporate Sales and Marketing Rob Murphy.
In addition to all the Whalers activities, Compuware Sports Arena will also be introducing Detroit's newest professional team, The Detroit Ignition of the Major Indoor Soccer League, which will begin play at the Compuware Sports Arena this fall. For those guests looking for great summer entertainment, guests at the Fan Appreciation Day Saturday will be provided with a raffle ticket to win tickets at the Compuware Sports Arena Drive-in Theatre, which enjoys a special Preview Weekend May 26-28. The Drive-In will open seven days a week starting June 15 through September 3.
Saturday's Scheduled Events at Customer Appreciation Day:
10:00 am - 6 pm - Whalers' used equipment sale.
3:30 - 5 pm - Plymouth Whalers' rookie camp scrimmage.
5:15 - 7:15 pm - Free Skate with Music. Whalers' Mascot, Shooter, will be in attendance.
From 5 - 8 pm:
Season ticket and seat selection preview/opportunities for the 2006-07 season.
Pro-Shop Sale with discounts from 20-50% off retail prices.
Concession Specials on select Food and Beverages.
Compuware Sports Arena Family Fun Guide Distribution.
Information on Plymouth Whalers Summer Hockey Schools at the Compuware Sports Arena.
Meet-and-Greet with Whaler players from 6-6:30 pm.
Meet-and-Greet with members of the Detroit Ignition of the Major Indoor Soccer League.
