The Ontario Hockey League announced on Monday that Patrick McNeill was selected to the OHL General Manager's All Star Squad, as selected by the managers themselves.

McNeill received 47 votes in the poll, giving him an honorary spot on the squad's defense. Every year, General Manager's throughout the league cast a vote on the best of the best in the OHL, recognizing players for their previous season's contributions. Managers are not allowed to select players from their own club.

During the 2005-2006 season, McNeill was the leagues top scorer for all defenseman. He ended the season with 21 goals and 56 assists, with a plus 23.
