"We are pleased to have our scheduled finalized," said Venom General Manager Mark Helm, who attended the league meetings. "The exhibition game between select AIFA All-Stars and the Richmond Express of the East Division was fun. The hitting was incredible and there were many great plays that demonstrated the high quality of play in the AIFA." Cornerback Kofi Amoah, defensive back/linebacker Mike Blackstone, and former Wenatchee High School and University of Idaho star offensive lineman Matt Martinez represented Wenatchee Valley in the game, which was won by Richmond, 49-45. "Our guys represented us well," said Helm. "Kofi basically shutdown his receiver. Mike was impressive, but Matt impressed me the most. He even got complimented by the defensive end that played against him during the game."
Individual game tickets will be available at the Town Toyota Center Box Office starting Thursday, January 28th. Season Tickets, 3- and 4-Game Pack Tickets, and Group Tickets are on sale at the Venom's Office at 2 South Chelan Avenue in Wenatchee. For more team information check out www.wenatcheevenom.com.
