Recap of Last Week
This past week the Road Warriors took a three game road trip against Atlantic Division teams that began on Wednesday. The trip started against the Elmira Jackals who gave the Road Warriors their first road loss since October 13th. The game was a low scoring affair as Greenville lost 2-1. The Road Warriors traveled to Reading on Friday night and lost again 5-2. Reading scored three unanswered goals in the third period to continue their 11 game win streak. The Road Warriors would salvage two points on the trip with a victory on Saturday night in Trenton. Bryan Hince would shut the Titans out as the Road Warriors left the trip victorious by a score of 3-0.
Warrior Appreciation Night & Week Ahead
The Road Warriors return home for Warrior Appreciation Night on Wednesday November 28, 2012 against Reading at 7 p.m. The special night will salute the men and women who keep our country safe on the EquilifeMD rink at the BI-LO Center. There will be discounted tickets for all active and retired military, police, fire and first responders. In addition, the Road Warriors will wear special Warrior Appreciation Night jerseys in honor of those who protect us. After the game, the Road Warriors will auction of the jerseys to benefit the Wounded Warrior Regiment, the Rama Memorial Scholarship Fund for the Greenville Fire Department and the Harold C. Jennings Foundation. The City of Greenville will showcase a SWAT Truck, ATV, Police Charger, Patrol Car, K-9 Unit Tahoe and Police Dog in the Charter Business Plaza. Greenville County will also showcase a SWAT Truck and the Greenville Fire Department will provide a fire truck. Fans will be able to interact with the vehicles which will arrive at 5:30 p.m.
WCCP Talk.Sports will be broadcasting from the main entrance from 3-7 p.m. on Wednesday leading up to the puckdrop. Road Warriors Players and the Head Coach will be interviewed live on-air as follows:
3:40 p.m. with Dean Stork
4:40 p.m. with TJ Reynolds
5:40 p.m. with Scott Stajcer
6:00 p.m. with Kyle Haines
The Road Warriors will travel to Florida for a two game series against the Everblades on Friday and Saturday night at 7 p.m. Greenville has a 4-0 record against the defending Kelly Cup Champions. Kenndal McArdle has played three games against Florida with three goals, two assists and has a +7 rating. Brandon Wong has also had a good start against the South Division Rival with two goals, five assists and a +7 rating in four games played.

-Greenville ranks 2nd in the Eastern Conference in goals for with 61

Transactions
The Road Warriors were assigned Matt MacKenzie and Drew Schiestel last week by the Buffalo Sabres from the Rochester Americans and traded Rob Kwiet to San Francisco for future considerations. Schiestel was recalled by Buffalo to Rochester after the weekend's games.
MacKenzie, a Buffalo Sabres third round pick in 2011, has played in nine games with the Rochester Americans this year in the AHL. During that span he has collected one assist and 23 penalty minutes. MacKenzie is no stranger to the ECHL having played five games with the Gwinnett Gladiators last season with two assists and 11 penalty minutes in his short stint. The 21 year old hails from New Westminster, British Columbia.
Schiestel, a Sabres second round pick in 2007, has played in 159 career AHL games dating back to the 2009 season. The Hamilton, Ontario native has played with the Portland Pirates, Texas Stars and Rochester. During that time the 23 year old defenseman has collected eight goals, 44 assists and 75 penalty minutes.
Kwiet was traded to San Francisco after appearing in 13 games with the Road Warriors where he totaled two goals and eight assists with a +5 rating.
