Dear Swarm Fan,

I wanted to start this update with a heartfelt thanks to each and every one of you. We at the Swarm have appreciated all of our conversations we have had with you, be it over the phone, via email, or interactions on social media. Those connections are helping us to continue working towards a better tomorrow and have made us miss seeing you all wearing blue and yellow and cheering on our men at Sting City even more. We know these past few weeks have not been the easiest, but all of our efforts will one day bear fruit, hopefully hastening our return to Sting City.

While I have no update at the time of this writing regarding the next steps for resumption of play, I do have exciting news to share. Our awesome gameday broadcast partner Atlanta's CW69 has been working with us these past few weeks to broadcast Game 2 of the 2017 NLL Finals for the first time ever locally.

This is the game where the Swarm brought Atlanta its first professional sports world championship in nearly 22 years and is one of the best games I have personally ever seen - not just in lacrosse, but across all sports.

This first-ever airing of Game 2 of the 2017 NLL Finals on television will also feature audio commentary from our coaches and players who were part of this world championship-winning team. They will be providing great insight into what they and their teammates were thinking throughout that crazy contest, especially the final play of regulation, which positively altered the fate of our franchise in a scant few seconds and still makes me smile when I think back on how that play unfolded.

This re-airing of Game 2 of the NLL Finals is tentatively scheduled for Saturday, May 2 and will be must-see TV. I can't wait to re-watch this game again and hope many of you enjoy watching it for the first time once it airs. We'll pass along more details about this broadcast as we get closer to that date!

SWARM PROGRAMMING

We're still rolling out great content for you to engage with us and our wonderful sport. Here are some recent pieces we've done this past week:

SwarmFit - The SwarmFit Challenge is halfway through, and we've seen great participation from fans posting on Twitter and Instagram after they've completed each day's activity! There's still time to participate as we enter the home stretch, and the SwarmFit Challenge will culminate in a trick shot competition where you can win a Swarm-Branded Epoch lacrosse stick. The more you participate, the better your chances are of winning this special lacrosse stick!

"Guys Night Out" with Kev, J. Chad, and Ben at 680 The Fan - Last Thursday evening, I had the privilege of catching up with Kev, J. Chad, and Ben at 680 The Fan for their "Guys Night Out" show. We talked about how we at the Swarm are using this time to refocus and sharpen ourselves for the future and some of the ways we're engaging with out community and fans.

Swarm Individual Player Milestones - Even with an abbreviated regular season, our players and coaches make NLL and personal history regularly, and we recap all they accomplished this season. Take a read and join us in congratulating them on the new personal records they've set!
