Friday, Feb. 22 - PENGUINS 2 vs. Hershey 4

A two-goal effort in the middle frame by Ryan Haggerty gave the Penguins a 2-1 edge leading into the final 20 minutes of regulation. Hershey found the back of the net three times in the third period including an empty-net tally from Riley Barber to complete the hat trick.

Sunday, Feb. 17 - PENGUINS 4 vs. Rockford 1

After Ryan Scarfo notched his first goal as a Penguin, the two teams were even with one goal a piece after the opening period. Then in the second stanza, Jimmy Hayes unloaded for two tallies to secure the Penguins 3-1 lead. Tristan Jarry made 33 saves, including 12 in the third period, to lock things down for Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, and Adam Johnson sealed the deal with an empty-netter. Four Penguins ultimately ended up with multi-point games, including Hayes (2G), Scarfo (1G-1A), Jarrett Burton (2A) and Jeff Taylor (2A).

The Week Ahead

Friday, March 1 - PENGUINS at Providence

Wilkes-Barre/Scranton visits Providence for the final time this season and the fourth of six season meetings. The Penguins are still looking for their first win against the Bruins in 2018-19, going 0-2-1-0 against Providence thus far. However, four of the five goals Wilkes-Barre/Scranton has scored against Providence have come in the third period.

Saturday, March 2 - PENGUINS at Hartford

The Penguins take a trip to play the Wolf Pack for the fifth clash in their six-game season series. Wilkes-Barre/Scranton leads the series 3-1-0-0. Rookie Sam Lafferty has lit the lamp in three of the four meetings against the Wolf Pack this season and has five points (3G-2A) against Hartford. Furthermore, Wilkes-Barre/Scranton is 13-1-1-0 in its last 15 visits to XL Center.

- Ryan Haggerty has 12 points (9G-3A) in his last 12 games.

- Ethan Prow is third among AHL defenseman in goals (15) and fifth in points (39).

- Recently acquired Chris Wideman posted three goals and 10 assists for 13 points in 16 games with the Springfield Thunderbirds this season. In 2014-15, Wideman topped all AHL D-men in goals (19), assists (42) and points (61) while winning the Eddie Shore Award as the league's best defenseman

- Tristan Jarry is ranked 11th among AHL goalies in save percentage (.912).
