ICE CHIPS: The KOOTENAY ICE enter this week's action with a 1-1-0 record (1-1-0 at home, 0-0-0 on the road and 0-0 in overtime) after the two games of the EASTERN CONFERENCE QUARTER FINAL against the MOOSE JAW WARRIORSKOOTENAY finished the 2010-2011 regular season 46-21-1-4 (26-8-1-1 at home, 20-13-0-3 on the road, 1-1 in overtime, 4-4 in shootouts) and in fourth place in the EASTERN CONFERENCE and sixth in the WHLThe ICE clinched a playoff spot for the 13th consecutive season and tied CALGARY for the longest active streak in the WHLKOOTENAY is facing the MOOSE JAW WARRIORS in the playoffs for the second time in franchise historyIn 2001, the ICE defeated MOOSE JAW in four games in the first round of the post seasonThe week the ICE will travel to MOOSE JAW for Game Three (March 29) and Game Four (March 30) before returning home to host Game Five (April 1).

PLAYOFF EXPERIENCE: The ICE have a career playoff record of 70-57 (39-25 at home, 31-32 on the road, 18-10 in overtime)KOOTENAY has 231 games of playoff experience which is the seventh most of the teams who qualified for the post seasonKEVIN KING (29), CODY EAKIN (25) and BRAYDEN MCNABB (22) lead the ICE in games played in the playoffsMCNABB recorded his first WHL playoff goal and assists on March 26 against MOOSE JAWJOE ANTILLA recorded his first WHL playoff goal against the WARRIORS on March 26.
