New Jersey Titans News Release
The New Jersey Titans will take to the ice for their season opener with a two game series on the road against the Danbury Jr. Hat Tricks to begin the 2023-24 regular season.
Last year, New Jersey won all 12 games against the Hat Tricks. Danbury is expected to have plenty of returning players from last season, led by Chase Sandhu and Wyatt Stefan. Sandhu was second on the team last year with 30 points, behind the now departed Andrew Eberling. Stefan had 10 goals and 16 assists in his first NAHL season.
The Titans will be led by Dominik Bartecko, who recorded 52 points in 54 games, 39 of which came after he was acquired from Amarillo. He is expected to skate on a line with NAHL veteran Dominick Rivelli. Rivelli recorded 18 points in 30 games with Langley in the BCHL. He also led New Jersey in preseason scoring with 5 goals and 2 assists in three games, including a shorthanded hat trick against Danbury on August 26th.
Faceoff is scheduled for 7:00pm, and the game can be seen live and in high definition on the new NAHLtv streaming service.
The New Jersey Titans, proud members of the North American Hockey League, are entering their ninth season at the Middletown Sports Complex in Middletown, NJ. The 2022 Robertson Cup National Champions, the Titans have made the playoffs in every season since their founding in 2015. Season ticket packages will be available soon, in time for the 2023-24 season home opener versus Rochester on September 29th.
