New Jersey Titans News Release
vs. Rebels:
The Titans come into the weekend home-and-home series with an overall record of 19-10-2 and a 2-2 record in home-and-home series. The Rebels, meanwhile come in with a 20-12-0 overall record.
The two teams have met just four times in the first four months of the season. They will equal that amount of games in the month of January alone.
The Titans are 3-1 against the Rebels this season. All three Rebels wins against the Titans have been by a 3-2 score. The Titans win was a 3-0 shutout on Nov. 13.
Saturday Night:
Following Friday night's contest in Aston, the Titans will face-off against the Rebels will travel to Middletown Ice World for the first time since Sept. 18. It will be only the second time the Rebels have played the Titans on the road. In contrast to the other two teams in the NAHL Eastern Division have played three (Johnstown) and four (Wilkes-Barre/Scranton) games respectively.

The Bad News, the Good News:
While the Titans were in the midst of their holiday break, the Rebels split last weekend with the Fairbanks Ice Dogs. With their win, the Rebels leapfrogged into first place in the NAHL Eastern Division. Both teams have 40 points but the Rebels 20 wins on the season gives them the tiebreaker, however the Titans have played one fewer game. The Titans still have a higher winning percentage (.645 vs. .625).
The winner of Friday night's game in Aston will take sole possession of first place with a chance to take a four-point lead.
Double Digits:
The Titans currently have four players with double digits in the goal category: Anthony Cusanelli (12), Keegan Miller (12), Jesse Farabee (11), Raymond Brice (11).
The Titans also have six players with 20 or more points: Cusanelli (25), Jesse Farabee (22), Bruno Birzitis (22), Raymond Brice (21), Adam Hascic (21), and Darren Brady (20).
