SIOUX FALLS, SD - The Sioux Falls Storm (5-7) will host the Green Bay Blizzard (5-8) on Saturday, August 21 at the Denny Sanford Premier Center. The game will kickoff at 7:05 PM with the show starting at 6:45 PM. The winner of this game will claim the last playoff spot.

Sioux Falls Federal Credit Union will serve as the presenting sponsors of the game. The team's annual Night of Hope & Caring will bring the community together in order to fundraise and highlight a local need in our elementary schools in efforts to help level the playing field for kids who do not benefit from parent support groups such as PTA's or PTO's. The Storm's Hometown Heroes Night is also this Saturday to honor all the local first responders of our community. The Storm look to snap a three-game losing streak after losing to the Iowas Barnstormers 49-55 last week. In that game, quarterback Lorenzo Brown completed eight passes for 113 yards, one touchdown, one fumble, and had 74 rushing yards for three touchdown. Running back Nate Chavious rushed for 46 yards and two touchdowns along with 24 reception yards and one touchdown. Wide receivers Brandon Sheperd had 34 reception yards along with 19 rushing yards and one touchdown, Damian Ford had 37 reception yards and Alonzo Moore had 18 reception yards.

Defensive back Trey Wafford and Reid Harrison-Ducros led the Thunder Defense with 12 total tackles, Trey had one interception and one tackle for loss and Reid had two pass break-ups and one tackle for loss. Defensive linemen Demetrius Harris had one tackle for loss. Defensive back Jermaine Robinson had one pass break-up. Kicker Parker Douglass made all seven extra points and missed three field goals.

The Blizzard look to snap a two-game losing streak after a 33-50 loss to the Massachusetts Pirates last week.
