Duke City quarterback Nate Davis capped off the regular season against the Bismarck Bucks by setting the IFL single-season passing touchdowns record (79) to get the Gladiators a victory and a spot in the playoffs. Davis completed 20-of-28 for 246 yards and six passing touchdowns, and also rushed three times for 19 yards and one touchdown. Late in the fourth quarter, the Bucks started to close the gap after a quick touchdown to make the score 50-45, but Davis and the Gladiators squashed any comeback attempt with just two plays the following possession that ended with a 14-yard strike to Taylor Raymond for a touchdown. Duke City would go on to close out the victory over the Bucks, 57-45.
