Waza Flo vs Harrisburg Game Postponed Due to Weather

Flint, MI - Due to extreme weather conditions in Pennsylvania the match scheduled for January 24th against the Harrisburg Heat has been cancelled and will be rescheduled in February.
Waza Flo (6-7) would be entering the match looking to get back to .500 on the season after coming off a heartbreaking home loss against division rival Syracuse (6-6) that came in the closing moments of an exciting game. The Harrisburg Heat have yet to fill the win column this year and stand at 0-12 with their last match ending in a 3-6 road loss to the Chicago Mustangs.
The teams will meet on January 30th and 31st in Harrisburg. The Heat, with the home advantage, hosting two games back-to-back. Harrisburg will be looking to step up their defense as they've given up an average of just over 7.5 goals per game while scoring just 3.5 goals per game- a statistic that Waza Flo's leading goal scorers will look to exploit.
Waza Flo Midfielder " Ricardinho" Sobreira #11 enters the weekend matches on a 5-game point streak with 5 goals and 2 assists. Add the 16 goals on the season between Leo de Oliveira & Thiago Goncalves and these matches have all the makings of high scoring evenings.
PLAYOFFS
The upcoming matches in Pennsylvania could have huge playoff implications in the MASL Eastern Division. A win by Waza Flo would punch their ticket to the postseason in their inaugural season in Flint, as they are ensured at least a 3rd place finish in the division.

Waza Flo, in conjunction with the Genesee County Humane Society, produced a 2016 Calendar with part of the sales proceeds going to the Humane Society. All the animals in the photos were adopted at the Waza Flo games. At the February 12th game, the first 100 families to enter will be given a Calendar.
