Hoffman Estates, Illinois -The Chicago Mustangs are entering their fourth year competing in a professional setting. The year will consist of 10 home games and 10 games on the road as it was last year when both the MISL and the PASL combined.
The Mustangs will open their season at home versus the team that resides only 90 miles away, the Milwaukee Wave on October 31st 2015. The Chicago Mustangs and the Milwaukee Wave had quite a confrontation last year when the two leagues became one. Both the Mustangs and the Wave are both undefeated at their home when playing one another. The Chicago Mustangs and the Milwaukee Wave each defeated one another at home during the regular season. Playoffs were no different; the Mustangs took the first game in Chicago while the Wave went on to win the second game and the mini game in Milwaukee advancing to the central division championship.
"These games are always my favorite ones to play. There is so much at stake. It's a conference game, rival game, bragging rights, and most important they took us out of the playoffs last year. I believe we all remember how things ended last year. It was a long trip back home. Those feelings and thoughts are not forgotten very easy. I feel very confident about Halloween night, we have a great core of players coming back, but most importantly we will have new players who will fill in the voids we had last year." - Douglas Dos Santos Nicolau
