Milwaukee Wave News Release
The 7-time champion Milwaukee Wave arrived at Love Field Airport in Dallas, Texas Wednesday afternoon and quickly connected with former Wave player Ed Puskarich for a quick practice session before Thursday night's game against the Dallas Sidekicks at Credit Union of Texas Event Center.
"A very big thank you to Eddie (Puskarich) and everyone at the Texas Spurs Football Club for being so very accommodating," said Milwaukee Wave Head Coach Giuliano Oliviero. "Eddie was with the Wave back in the mid-90's, now he is the Director Coaching here and does a great job with the kids. We can't thank them enough for taking time out of his day to have us."
Thursday night's 7pm game against Dallas is Milwaukee's final road game of the regular season before they close things out at UW-Milwaukee Panther Arena on Sunday, March 27 (1pm v. KC), and Saturday, April 2 (6pm vs Dallas).
"The goal is to win out the rest of the season," added Oliviero. "The guys understand because we're still in it. Our playoff hopes are like a cat, we've got nine lives. With every bump in the road we seem to have another opportunity but this is our last one and we want to make the most of it."
