Wave Take on Rival St. Louis Ambush Sunday Afternoon
February 4, 2022 - Major Arena Soccer League (MASL)
Milwaukee Wave News Release
After back-to-back games in Mexico last weekend, the 7-time champion Milwaukee Wave return home to their legendary black turf Sunday afternoon at 1:05pm to face their MASL Central Division rivals, the St. Louis Ambush.
"We know the Ambush have a very talented team," said Head Coach Giuliano Oliviero. "But at the same time we find we are hitting our stride. Plus, we have a couple guys coming back from injury."
The Wave is sitting in last place in the MASL Central Division with a 3-6 record, while the Ambush is in second place with a 5-7 record.
"Every home game as a must win," added Oliviero. "We just need to stick to the game plan and recognize that the Ambush bring a lot to the table. We've had a great week of studying and preparation so I'm feeling very confident going into Sunday."
Tickets are available at MilwaukeeWave.com or at the UW-Milwaukee Panther Arena Box office prior to the game.
