Wave Start Playoffs at Chicago Mustangs Thursday

Your Six-Time Champion MKE Wave will face the defending PASL champion Chicago Mustangs in the Major Arena Soccer League Divisional Playoffs this Thursday.

Milwaukee (13-7) is the No. 2 seed while Chicago (11-9) is the No. 3 seed. The first leg of the two-game series is at 7pm Thursday at Sears Centre in Chicago. Milwaukee hosts Game 2 at 3pm Saturday, March 7^th. If the teams split, they'll play a 15-minute "mini-game" to break the tie. The winner of this series will meet the No.1 seed and defending MISL Champion, Missouri Comets in the MASL Central Divisional final.

"We are quietly confident heading into Thursday's match," said Head Coach Giuliano Oliviero. "We have a couple players that are still trying to come back from injury but overall, we are really starting to gel as a team. We know Chicago is a tough opponent. We know they were last years PASL champions and they have a lot of pride. We know they're going to be up for the challenge as well. We're looking forward to Thursday."
