Milwaukee Wave News Release

MILWAUKEE (Feb. 16, 2010) - The Milwaukee Wave will host the Philadelphia KiXX at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 17 in a regular-season Major Indoor Soccer League game rescheduled from Feb. 6 in Philadelphia.

Heavy snow on the East Coast forced postponement of the original game, and scheduling conflicts at the Liacouras Center in Philadelphia prevented the game from being played there prior to the end of the MISL regular season on March 21.

Milwaukee was already scheduled to play a School Day Game exhibition on March 17, and will simply replace the intrasquad game with a full MISL contest. Philadelphia will remain in town until March 20, when the teams face off again in a previously scheduled contest at the U.S. Cellular Arena.

Tickets for the March 17 game are available to the general public by calling 414-224-9283. VIP level seats of $22 will be available for $20.

School Day Games are part of the team's Making Waves educational outreach, and traditionally are intrasquad exhibitions with an educational theme. This is the first time in the five years of Making Waves that a regular-season game is part of the program.

The Wave's next game is at 4 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 21 against the KiXX. It's the World's Longest Pinewood Derby, and fans can run a car down the track beginning at 10 a.m. For more information, call 414-224-9283 or visit milwaukeewave.com.
