The Milwaukee Wave announced today at après conference that former Milwaukee Country Parks Director Sue Black will now be the new President and CEO of your Milwaukee Wave along with the charitable arm of the team, The Milwaukee Wave of Hope.

Black replaces acting President and CEO Jim Lindenberg who will continue his role as owner.

"She is a great leader in the community who has a proven track record and loves Milwaukee." Owner Jim Lindenberg said. "She passed up many opportunities to stay right here in Wisconsin and we couldn't be more excited.

Black is a graduate from the University of Wisconsin, Madison and was the former Milwaukee County Director of Parks from 2004-2012. Before that, the Director of the Wisconsin State Parks system from 1997-2003.

"This is an opportunity of a lifetime." Sue Black said. "I love this community and to be a part of the Milwaukee Wave, I couldn't be happier."

The Wave's next game is against the Rochester Lancers Sunday, February 10th at 3 pm at U.S. Cellular Arena.
