Wave Looks to Wash out Utica Sunday Afternoon in Milwaukee

February 2, 2023 - Major Arena Soccer League (MASL)
Milwaukee Wave News Release

Fresh off a win last Sunday against the rival Comets, the 7-time champion Milwaukee Wave look to keep that winning momentum going against Utica City FC, this Sunday afternoon, 1:05pm at UW-Milwaukee Panther Arena.

"We are chomping at the bit to get into this game on Sunday," said Head Coach Giuliano Oliviero. "I think we share a lot of similarities with Utica as far as the chemistry of our teams are concerned. They've got a good mix of young players and veterans and so do we. It's going to be an entertaining game to watch on many different levels."

The Milwaukee Wave is encouraging fans to dress as their favorite Princess or Superhero and join in on the fun during the pregame parade. Professional Princesses and Superheroes will be on hand for pictures and autographs throughout the game. The Greendale Robotics team will be in the concourse with a very special experience and Kay's Academy of Dance from Mukwonago, WI will join us for a performance at halftime. Plus, meet Pepper, the robot built for people, from Educators Credit Union and the postgame autograph session with the entire Milwaukee Wave team, win or lose.

"We love playing in front of our home crowd," added Oliviero. "Our fans have been amazing this year, like every season and I'm sure we'll have plenty of princesses and superheroes in the stands to help us out if we need it. Hopefully we won't have to go to any of them to use their super powers."
