A large winter storm hit Milwaukee Friday night, bringing in a foot of snow, and cold temperatures, but the action was hot inside Panther Arena as the visiting Dallas Sidekicks and Milwaukee Wave entertained a large boisterous crowd Saturday night in Milwaukee. Milwaukee started the game a bit sluggish due to playing the previous evening in St Louis, securing a 5-2 victory, and then enduring a long bus ride back to Milwaukee in snowy conditions. Dallas opened the scoring when Moi Hernandez's strike, assisted by Blas Perez, deflected off Milwaukee's Troy Morrison to beat Willie B low and near post to give the Sidekicks the early 1-0 lead at 3:36 of the first quarter. Milwaukee would then equalize when Marcio Leite received a nifty back heel pass from Derek Huffman who beat rookie goalkeeper Parker Lackland back post to equalize the score at 1. Dallas would regain the lead however, when Albert Rodriguez beat Willie B five hole, with the assist credited to Bradlee Baladez to give Dallas the 2-1 lead. Less than a minute later however, at 13:48 of the first Andre Hayne leveled the score with an assist from Ian Bennett, which saw teams squared at 2 apiece to end the first quarter.

Just 3 minutes into the second quarter, the Panther Arena erupted as Ben Ramin cleared a Dallas shot off the line, but on the ensuing scramble in the box, Just like the first quarter, Dallas would strike first, this time coming from Blas Perez assisted by Esai Romero. Milwaukee, again would answer back though from a brilliant tic-tac-toe play beginning with Salvador Nunez, to Andrew Wiedabach, to Stuart Grable who brought Milwaukee level at 3 apiece. With just 3:31 remaining in the half, Marcio Leite found Ian Bennett near the top of the box, a quick turn to beat his defender, and a shot to Parklands far post, saw Milwaukee take their first lead of the night, and a lead into the half at 4-3.

Milwaukee would, change the narrative of the evening, and score first in the 3rd quarter though through a Derek Huffman Tally at 1:26 of the third. A restart from the corner saw Marcio Leite, feed Andre Hayne, who then found Derek Huffman, whose low shot to the far post, gave Milwaukee the 5-3 advantage.

At 5:40 of the third, Mario Alvarez's shot was rebounded by Andre Hayne who found the back post corner to extend Milwaukee's lead to 6-3.

Coinciding blue cards issued to Milwaukee's Andrew Wiedabach and Blas Perez saw both teams play 4v4 for next two minutes at 7:15 of the 3rd.

At the 8:00 minute mark, Dallas would capitalize on a break away opportunity from Esai Romero, who fired past Willie B to bring the sidekicks within 2 at 6-4. Albert Rodriguez was credited with the assist.

An unassisted tally at 9:15 of the 3rd from Breno Oliviera, brought Milwaukee's lead back up to 3 at 7-4.

With just 57 seconds left on the clock, Renato Torquato's deflected shot, off Blas Perez brought the sidekicks with in 2 at 8-6. Blas would be credited with the goal.

Again Milwaukee, would take the lead in the beginning of the 4th quarter as Marcio Leite does what Marcio Leite does, as he slowly waits for the defender to make a move, cuts inside, beats goalkeeper Lackland 5-hole for the 9-6 lead.

At 9:45 of the 4th, Andre Hayne would complete his hat trick, as Ian Bennett finds Hayne back post who taps in for the 10-6 lead.

Dallas would get one more goal from Blas Perez, who beats newly inserted goalkeeper Augie Rey to bring the score 10-7.

Final Score: Milwaukee Wave 10, Dallas Sidekicks 7.

Head Coach Giuliano Oliviero reflected on tonights game saying " I thought considering the weather in the Midwest, and the travel that we had to do back from St Louis, took probably four hours longer than we thought it should, little bit of a lack of rest, but the guys showed up, we scored 10 goals the offensive side was really good again, and defensively we always could get better, and you know keeping pace with Monterrey, Kansas City, and Utica, and right now it seems Monterrey is the only undefeated team in the conference, and between us Kansas City and Utica, we're all sitting at 2 loses, its great competition and these are games where we need 3 points, and we did that tonight, so mission accomplished."

Andre Hayne was voted as tonight's MVP with 3 goals and 1 assist stated, "yesterday in St Louis, we had a great win, we had that amazing first half, up 4-0, which gave us a little bit of comfort for the 2nd half, came out in the third quarter, not really on the front foot, letting them have the ball, but we got the job done, we got the three point over there. Travel back to Milwaukee, play in front of this amazing fan base, and defended out turf, did our job, and ended up with another 3 points, and we did our homework, Giuls proposed us to get through the weekend with 2 wins, and gladly we finished out with 6 points, and I was very happy to help the team with 3 goals and 1 assist, but in the end its all about the results, and the wins, and the focus for the championship run."
