MILWAUKEE (Dec. 7, 2009) - Milwaukee Wave apparel is now available in the pro shop at the Milwaukee Athletic Club.
A full line of merchandise, including authentic Nike jerseys, can be purchased by the general public at the MAC, located at the corner of Broadway and Mason downtown.
Founded in 1882, the MAC is the only private club in Milwaukee that offers dining, meeting rooms, guest rooms and full athletic facilities. It has been located at the corner of Broadway and Mason since 1917.
The Wave host Philadelphia (1-2) at 6 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 12. Daryl Stuermer-Genesis Rewired plays a free postgame concert, and the first 5,000 fans receive a gemstone certificate from Robert Haack Jewelers. In addition, the Salvation Army will collect new hats and mittens, tossed on the field by fans after the first Wave goal.
The Milwaukee Wave professional indoor soccer team is the longest-running soccer franchise in continuous operation in the United States.
