Dance Team Unveiling Scheduled For Next Tuesday

Philadelphia (Monday, December 7, 2009) - The Philadelphia KiXX announced today the details for its unveiling party of the 2009-10 KiXX Dance Team, scheduled for 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, December 15th, at the Packer Avenue Chickie's & Pete's and PLAY2. Along with a pair of performances at the event, the girls will also be signing autographs.
"We are proud to be hosting the KiXX Dance Team Unveiling Party at Chickie's & Pete's and the newly opened PLAY2 for a third consecutive year," Vice President Darcee' Roberts said of the event. "These ladies provide outstanding entertainment at our home games, and they are excellent representatives of our organization. This unveiling will be a great chance for everyone to get a first look at these ladies before our home opener on January 9th."
The Unveiling Party will start at 7:30 p.m. and is scheduled to run until 9:00 p.m. that evening. The event will take place in the PLAY2 Interactive Sports Bar of the South Philadelphia Chickie's & Pete's. Jillian Gonzales, a former Philadelphia 76ers Dancer and native of Marlton, New Jersey, will also be on hand as she enters her second year as KiXX Dance Team Director.
With the upcoming Unveiling Party on tap, the KiXX are happy to announce an extension of its partnership with Toppers Salon and Spa. Toppers did the hair and makeup for the dance team in its 2009-10 calendar, and they are entering a second year of sponsoring the team at their five locations throughout the Tri-State area. The KiXX also announce today a partnership with Bally's Fitness, who will serve as the official gym and practice studio of the dance team.
The next game action for the KiXX is a road match-up with the Milwaukee Wave (1-2) on Saturday at 7:00 p.m. The team will play its historic first home game at the Liacouras Center on the campus of Temple University on Saturday, January 9th, hosting the Rockford Rampage at 7:00 p.m. Season and group ticket packages for the KiXX are available now by calling 1-888-888-KiXX.
