Waterloo, Iowa- The Waterloo Black Hawks wrapped up the 2015 United States Hockey League Draft Tuesday with 22 selections during Phase Two of the two-day process.
Shortly after 8 a.m. - with the sixth pick during the second round - the Hawks made their first choice of the day: forward Brandon Schultz. In 2014/15, the 18-year-old led the Janesville Jets of the North American Hockey League with 28 goals in 56 games. Schultz also contributed 30 assists and was +35, the second-best plus/minus differential on the team. During the league's Robertson Cup playoffs, he has notched another eight points in just seven appearances.

The Hawks selected nine players born in 1999 on Monday evening during Phase One of the draft. In Phase Two, generally older players could be chosen from any birth year between 1995 and 1999. While Phase One selections may not appear immediately in the USHL during the season after they are chosen, Phase Two picks are generally skaters who will compete for roster spots immediately.
