CELEBRATION, Fla. â The World Hockey Association 2 (WHA2) today announced that fans will now be able to watch select WHA2 games over the internet via www.IRN.FM.
Throughout the season, www.IRN.FM will broadcast pay-per-view video of WHA2 games for $5.99. To introduce new fans to the excitement of WHA2 hockey and reward fans that have supported the WHA2, this Sunday's game will be free to anyone who registers with www.IRN.FM. The November 16 game will feature the President's Cup Champion Orlando Seals versus the Macon Trax. Puck drop is at 6:05pm.
After fans register and choose the Seals vs. Trax game to view, they will be asked to perform a "TV test" to validate that their computer system can handle and play video. This test will be in place for each of the games so that if a fan's computer cannot carry the video, they will know at that point before purchasing the game. Live support will be available to hockey fans interested in watching any of the WHA2 games. Visit www.IRN.FM for more details.
The WHA2 will ice six teams for the 2003 â 2004 season: the Alabama Slammers, Jacksonville Barracudas, Lakeland Loggerheads, Macon Trax, Miami Manatees, and Orlando Seals. Each team will play a 60-game schedule. Every game will be broadcast on www.irn.fm.
