Watch The Barons Live Tonight

March 29, 2005 - American Hockey League (AHL)
Cleveland Barons News Release

Cleveland Barons fans will get the opportunity to watch their team play the Grand Rapids Griffins via a special live webcast on Tuesday, March 29th at 7:00pm from Van Andel Arena. To do so, simply go to the following website: https://www.b2livetv.com/hockey/ahl/cleveland/billnow.asp.

The Barons are one of the lucky teams that will test a new streaming feed for the AHL. The cost to watch the game is $6 US and users must have hi-speed, cable or broadband Internet access. Both the Barons and Griffins are on the outside-looking-in for the 2005 race to the Calder Cup. The Barons sit just four points behind Hamilton for fourth place while the Griffins are just two points out of the final playoff spot in the West Division. With a lot at stake, Tuesday's game should be quite physical and entertaining.

The game will be joined in progress on SportsTalk AM-850 WKNR at 8pm.

Buffalo Wild Wings

Two Barons Nights at Buffalo Wild Wings will take place on Tuesday, April 5th and Wednesday, April 6th. The Barons will be at the Lyndhurst location (5433 Mayfield Road) on Tuesday from 8-10pm. On Wednesday, fans can join the Barons at the Garfield Heights location (12668 Rockside Road) from 9:30-11pm. The Cleveland Barons and Labatt Blue will host contests to win wonderful prizes.

Fahey Likely To Return

After missing the last four games, Jim Fahey is expected to return to the lineup tonight against Grand Rapids. Fahey was a spark to the Barons offense prior to his absence. He has recorded one point in seven of his last 12 games (2-7-9). Three of Fahey's four goals this season have gone for game-winners. His 21 assists are tied for the lead amongst Barons defensemen and his 25 points are second.
