Quad City Riverhawks News Release
Davenport, IA- Quad City Riverhawks General Manager Eric Hutchins invites all fans to come see Will Farrell's new movie "Semi-Pro" with Quad City's Professional Basketball Team. The Quad City Riverhawks will attend a special 2:15 PM showing of the movie Sunday, March 2nd at Showcase Cinema's in Davenport, IA. The Riverhawks will be signing autographs prior to and after the movie. Tickets for this showing are just $6.50.
Semi-Pro, set in 1976, follows Jackie Moon's (Will Farrell) Flint Tropics and their efforts to be one of four American Basketball Association (ABA) teams to be merged into the National Basketball Association (NBA). Farrell is joined on the silver screen by Woody Harrelson ("Cheers", "White Men Can't Jump") and Andre Benjamin (also known as Andre 3000 from the Hip-Hop group Outkast).

Other News and Notes:
- Times and games have been announce for the first PBL Triple "S" Super Scouting Showcase to be held March 3rd-5th in Chicago, IL. The Riverhawks games against Dallas on the road and Maryland at home have been rescheduled for the showcase. The Riverhawks and Defenders will meet in the first game Monday, March 3rd at 11:00 am. Tuesday will feature Quad City against the Maryland Nighthawks at 1:45 pm. All games will be held at Attack Athletics in Chicago.
All ten Premier Basketball League teams will participate at the Triple "S" Showcase in front of scouts, agents and owners of teams from around the world.
