Waston, Bolanos, Perez Named to Copa América Centenario Preliminary Rosters

VANCOUVER, BC - Vancouver Whitecaps FC defender Kendall Waston and midfielder Christian Bolaños were named to Costa Rica's preliminary roster for the upcoming Copa América Centenario 2016. Striker Blas Pérez was also named to Panama's 35-man preliminary roster in advance of the tournament to be held across 10 cities in the United States from June 3 to 26.

The final 23-man tournament rosters will be announced in the coming weeks.

Waston has eight senior international caps under his belt, while Bolaños has 62. The duo featured in Costa Rica's most recent pair of matches in World Cup Qualifying action against Jamaica.

Pérez is third all-time in international appearances for Panama with 104 and most recently played in the World Cup Qualifiers versus Haiti last March.
