Washington Spirit Select Jordan Thompson 50th Overall in the 2022 NWSL Draft

Washington, D.C., - The Washington Spirit have selected Gonzaga defender Jordan Thompson with the 50th overall pick in the 2022 NWSL Draft.

Originally from Sumner, Washington, Thompson earned Second Team All-West Coast Conference honors in 2021 and started all 81 games she played in during her five seasons at Gonzaga. Thompson also recorded six goals and two assists in her career with the Bulldogs, including three goals in six shots on goal throughout her senior campaign.

Thompson represents the Spirit's fifth and final pick of the 2022 NWSL Draft.
